Freelancing is something that you can do to earn money using your skills. I will not waste much time and come to the point.
Sites like rentacoder.com , getafreelancer.com , elance.com , guru.com .
There are many others also but the one I use mostly and have earned money using is rentacoder.com .
All you have to do is to signup on the site which is free.
Browse existing projects and bid on the one you like.
If your bid is accepted by the buyer(the person who posted the project), then you will do the work and submit it to the buyer.
The money matter is what you may be thinkinhg now. So, don't worry because the money remains safe in an escrow log and while you complete the project the money is held by the site.
If the buyer approves youe work then your work is complete and you will recieve the amount.
The amount would be the commision of the site deducted from your bid price.
All your history is maintained by the site on your profile page.
The buyer is able to rate you and he/she can post a comment about you which may affect your position on the site so it is better if you do not make the buyer hassle too much and provide him with some satisfying work.
